SPECIAL FUNCTIONS AND GUESTS
On the 15 January His Excellency, the Honorable Shri Surjit Singh Barnalaji, the Governor of Tamil Nadu came to Project Hope's Relief Camp where the following activities took place.
- Pushing of the first repaired boats back into the ocean by the Honorable Governor
- Plantation of trees in memory of all those who lost their lives
- Speeches by the Honorable Governor, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, Vivek Oberoi and distinguished Central Government Ministers.
- Presentation of the first new fishing nets purchased by Project Hope for the villagers.
- A special musical concert by world famous drummer Sivamani along with his entire orchestra for the entire village.

His Excellency the Governor, distinguished Central Gov't ministers, Relief Commissioner, District Collector and other VIPs come to Project Hope's relief site.
The world famous Drummer Sivamani gave a rousing concert that uplifted everyone's spirits.
